The Church of Norsca: IC institution
The Church of Norsca is/was an IC institution within the wolves which was open
to any member of the faction who was essentially a "priest/shaman/devoted
follower" of one of the gods of Norsca. Click here for more
It is/was not a group as such. You should view it more like the Celestial College: an IC institution open to any group member who meets the entry criteria.
For Sigurd this meant being a priest of any of the Aesir, Vanir and associated supernatural beings such as Loki, Fenris, Hel etc. Others opinions may vary, especially regarding Loki and Fenris, but that's a lovely bit of IC dogma for people to work out IC!
Arna, Bog, Sigurd, Elli and the rest of them were members of the group The Followers of Hel, which was distinct from The Church of Norsca. The Followers of Hel were all members of The Church of Norsca, and due to the fact that OOC me and Jim own the tent, became the custodians of the Church of Norsca both OOC and IC.
Neither Jen (Arna) and Jim (Bog) are coming back as characters in The Church of Norsca. Jen is joining The Foundation in the Lions, and Jim is joining the Black Wolves, but not in a capacity which will likely have anything to do with the Church. I don't know what the others are going to be up to, but I suspect they may also be joining the Foundation, so it's unlikely the the group formerly know as The Followers of Hel will have much to do with The Church of Norsca IC.
However, the Church of Norsca IC is currently in the hands of Vejbjorn, Thorn and probably a few other religious types in the Wolves. You should ask them about joining. I hope the IC institution continues and gains strength, and I'm sure they can do it.
