| The Culmination of the history of the
Stormwolves, and their Sojourn upon the mainland - far away from the
protection of the Isle of Myst.... So, Myst had been
the bearer of the Book of Odin, in which it is said the current
histories of the World continue to be written. Upon his passing,
slayer of Casboeth his only son, the Book passed into other hands,
Selene of Gingarren, Sy of the Stormwolf, but what was being written
in that book??
Rumours were prevalent that there was another story written, anther
version of History, perhaps the words of Myst were not the ultimate
Truth that had always been thought? What of Casboeth?? The first to be
strong enough to hold the Incarna of Loki himself - what if there was
Truth in his words ?? What if it was Myst who had closed his mind to
part of the Pantheon of the Gods??? Myst - who damned and hated Hel!!!
Myst who had no time for including Loki in his understanding of the
Gods!!!
Myst had been charged with ensuring that History should
follow its allotted course - that Ragnarok should come at its
appointed time. But it was Myst alone who claimed that Casboeth had
turned those Wolves who followed him into Crimson Wolves - Slaves of
Loki - striving to bring about an early Twilight of the Gods!!
And then came the disturbing visitations through the
influence of Bragi - God of poetry and song!! "Take
me now to old Gingarren..."
What of these double stories of the Rape of Gingarren?? The
traditional story of pillage by ruthless brigands under the banner of
Crimson, and tale of the cleansing of the land by the heroes of Fire
and Blood!! What of the Sword of Law. What of the noble warriors of
the Crimson lands - charged to bring about the will of the Gods as
portrayed to them by Casboeth the True??
And then we heard of the "Morkinskinna" literally the "Rotten
Pages" that needed to be ripped from the World. But was it the world
that they needed to be removed from . Was this perhaps an indication
that the words in the Book of Odin were not as true as they should
be?? Where were the Fragskinna?? the True Pages ??
But under the continued harassment - there arose a leader as
evil as the reputation that rode before the Crimson Wolves. Fenn -
father of Sigurd, ruthless to his own people as he was honourless in
battle.
The Moderates of the Crimson Wolves sued for safe passage and
were granted support and safety by the Wolves to live in peace and
safety in Norscan Lands - but they were ruthlessly hunted down by Fenn
- son of Grimm and his cohort. A Final stand was required and the
Stormwolves rallied to the call - heedless of their weariness
following the battle with the Blood Queen - heedless of the lack of
healing among their number - heedless of the sense of their action,
they were Stormwolf - and followed Gunn into battle with a song in
their heart ....

And so - as the Norscan lands host the factions in the Spring
of 1105, Sigurd, Fenn-son, Shaman of Hel carries the standard for the
Stormwolves. Bevin - the Mother - failed to return to the Isle in time
.. What task is left for her to accomplish?? and Agna, refused entry
through the ritual circle to his home lands - Thrice tricked by Loki -
now travelling with Agnes who has been declared non - wolf, are there
still trial for him to surmount??

While the rest "remain on the Isle till we need them again " ......
When will that be ??? when the Morkinskinna is found??
